As we say in Ghana, Akwaaba! My hope is that as you check out my website, you feel and experience the true meaning of Akwaaba – being welcome and a part of this growing community.
After 21 years of singing in different spaces, I am thrilled to be working on my debut album – a gospel and inspirational album, with a heavy dose of rich African flavors and jazzy undertones. It is a fun and engaging mélange of sounds from Gospel, Reggae, Zouk, Highlife(Ghana), Hymns and Contemporary Christian. Yes, there’s something for everyone.
This is me showing up with all of who I am, doing what I love and have been gifted and called to do. This also celebrates the power of collaboration, believing that when we bring all our gifts together, the final outcome will be greater than the sum of the parts! .
Life is a journey for all of us, and no matter where we sit individually, there is always the potential to rise to higher ground. We don’t have to be stuck wherever we are now.
My desire is for each one of us to rise to a higher place, knowing that the strength we have within us is greater than all of our greatest fears. No matter the mountains you see, your miracle is only a step away. Rise with God’s wind beneath your wings, soaring higher and higher.
